"Characterized by eccentric and quirky vocals, space-themed lyrics, and progressive riffs, Starfisher is fast, heavy, and never dull." (BucketlistMusicReviews)
"We are huge fans of the complexity of the bands music and the clear passion behind its delivery, which makes this release an already high ranking highlight of ours for 2017." (Femetalism)
"Like the heaviest fruits of the grunge tree (I mean TAD and most of all Soundgarden, though there is space for some Pearl Jam as well) are cooked along with many spoonfuls of alternative prog metal sauce (Tool is the band to bear in mind here) and with some spicy pinches of 70s and 80s hard/heavy music poured in." (MetalObserver)
"Warning! Hyper-ventilating may occur! This is a convulsively fantastic piece of work by Jackknife Seizure. Their name compliments their sound; bending, throwing and ricocheting around your ears. The first three tracks lay out a heart-pounding prog rock feel with the vocal work proving most admirable, an uneasy, absurdist layering of sound that flips between high and then even higher pitched vocals; highly redolent of S.O.A.Ds Serj Tankian." (WorshipMetal)
"A highly unusual blend of prog techniques, incorporating a cocktail of alt, grunge, groove and stoner). Beginning as one thing and ending as another, with a proggy dream in the middle." (JennyTate)

Somehow the perfect mix of 70's heavy rock grooves and vocals and more contemporary stoner/doom down tuned riffage with ripping guitar solos. The rhythm section is top notch. The subject matter of the songs is intriguing. It all comes together perfectly. phil g
